Returns Policy

Unless otherwise specified the below terms apply to every product sold by Nitrobyte Limited. These terms are subject to change at any time, without prior notice.

Software

Please note that software cannot be returned or refunded and that issues caused by software, whether from malware, updates or any other cause are not covered under warranty. The only exception to this is if a device is delivered with malfunctioning or incorrect software installed. If this is the case, we may repair it under our own discretion. Please get in touch within two weeks of receiving it if this applies to a device you’ve purchased.

Returns

Unless overwise stated, every product can be returned within 14 days from the date of delivery. However, the following terms will apply.

  • Products must be returned in their original, untampered state. If not, the return may be rejected or only partially refunded at Nitrobyte Limited’s discretion.
  • Return shipping for the item will be at the buyers expense.
  • Customers wishing to exchange an item, receive store credit, or get a refund can do so without incurring any processing or restocking fees.
  • If an item was sold as new, the line above will apply for unopened products only. If a item sold as new has been opened, then a fee of 25% of the sale price will apply on top of a $30 handling fee.
  • Returns will not be accepted on perishable goods such as Printer Ink, batteries and similar as these items have a lifespan dependant on usage frequency.
  • Custom computer builds or any other product that is custom or a special order will be subject to a fee of 35% of the final sale price as well as a $30 handling fee.

Order cancelations

  • Any custom order or special products, computers or otherwise cannot be cancelled. These items will be subject to the terms outlined in the above “Returns” section.
  • Products that have not yet been processed can be cancelled and a full refund issued. Please ensure you let us know as soon as you change your mind to have the best chance of cancelling before an order is processed.
  • Orders that have already been processed will be subject to the terms outlined under the “Returns” Section.

Warranty Claims

For products that no longer function correctly.

We do our best to ensure that each and every product we sell is up to our high standards with our various checks and tests. However, in the unlikely event that an item needs to be returned under warranty, the following will apply.

  • All warranty periods are from the date of purchase.
  • The warranty claim must be made within the period specified or selected for that product. If it is not clear what period that is, our standard 12-month warranty will apply.
  • The warranty will not apply if the product has been physically damaged, whether intentional, accidental or via natural causes.
  • The warranty will not apply if physical damage has occurred through software use or abuse whether from malware, overclocking or other.
  • If any modifications, tampering or workmanship by a third party has occurred then the warranty will no longer apply.
  • The product fault must be replicatable or demonstrable.
  • The product will be returned to Nitrobyte at the customers expense unless otherwise informed by support.
  • The customer is responsible for ensuring that the returning item is packaged securely.
  • Nitrobyte is not responsible for any data loss that occurs during or before our repair process. Backing up your data is highly recommended before sending your device to us.
  • The warranty covers all expenses of labour, parts and similar incurred as long as it is processed by Nitrobyte.
  • The cost of returning a product back to the customer will be covered by Nitrobyte.
  • Any part or product that is replaced will be done so with an equivalent or better one. We may contact you first to ask your opinion beforehand.

Make sure you contact us first as no warranty claim can be accepted until we have accessed and provided instructions for your specific claim. You can contact us here for warranty claims. Also please note that a repair could take some time if we need to order in parts. We will keep you informed as best as we can during the warranty process and will let you know if a repair could take a while.

Damaged on arrival

Faulty Upon Arrival

If the product you receive is faulty upon arrival you must let us know as soon as possible. Please explain the fault in detail and we will get back to you with return instructions. We will courier and fix the product at no expense to yourself providing that the item is genuinely faulty.

Shipping Damage

If an item arrives with an obviously damaged box please do not accept and sign for the delivery. Instead decline it and then get in touch with support as soon as you can. If you have already received the item before you noticed any damage then please get in touch with us within 7 days of receiving the item (the sooner the better) so we can sort this out with the courier company. Note that we may ask you to provide photos of the damage so its a good idea to take some as soon as you can.

Lost in transit or hasn’t arrived

If an item hasn’t arrived yet, you can always go to the courier’s website and use your order’s tracking number to see where your package is. If your item is reported as lost in transit or its status hasn’t changed for a long period of time, then get in touch with us.

Received Incorrect Item

Providing that the item is unopened and in perfect condition we can arrange to have the item replaced or refunded. Please contact us first, if you have received the wrong item and please note that we may require photo evidence.

Incompatibility

Nitrobyte Limited is not responsible for any damage caused by incompatible products.

Nitrobyte will fully refund an incompatible item only if the products description or photos implied, or stated compatibility with an incompatible item. If only implied then the refund will be at the sole discretion of Nitrobyte Limited.
